Lights…Camera…Action!

Neither of us had ever been to a park at “Rope Drop” before, so we decided to head to the Studios before it opened to start Day 6 of our trip. They corralled everyone there on the main street…maybe it’s called “Mickey Ave”…can’t remember. Everyone was told we were going to be extras in a movie and that on “ACTION!” we would start cheering and walking to our first attractions of the day.

First place we went was Toy Story Midway Mania. And…so did everyone else in God’s creation. We wanted to just get a FP and head over to ToT or RnR…but the FP line looked longer than the actual queue for the ride! So we made the decision to just wait in line…which we did for probably 45 minutes to an hour. It was interesting watching the wait time estimate and FP return time shoot up as we approached the door.

Expedition Everest is my favorite queue…but I think TSMM has the most fun queue. Makes you feel like a toy. Enjoy the pictures.

Guess who had which score…

Next was Star Tours 2.0 again.

Remember how I talked about how there are 50 or so different ride combinations? And that it’s almost impossible to experience the same ride sequence twice? Well…we only rode this thing twice over the entire span of our trip…on different days…and we got the SAME EXACT ride sequence BOTH times!!! I was not very happy…and Abbie got motion sickness. So I guess that’s about it for Star Tours until our next trip.

To settle our stomachs we decided to ride The Great Movie Ride. This is one of my personal favorites…and our guide was very entertaining…weird…but entertaining.

I didn’t get anymore pictures of this one…but…I did get some video of the bandit scene…which I had never seen before. I have always gone to WDW during the offseason months and they only run the gangster scenes then. During the summer and holiday months they run both the gangster and the bandit scenes.

Now over to RnR to use some FPs we got earlier in the day.

It’s getting close to lunch…so we decided to head over to Animal Kingdom to eat and spend the afternoon…
